NBA Playoffs or an early summer vacation…that is the question! I will go out on a limb and assume those who are reading this are aware of the dilemma our team faces. With 7 games remaining on our schedule and nearly 5 games out of the eighth and final playoff spot, it’s a must we finish the season stronger than ever by winning seven of the remaining seven games. For the doubters, YES, I do believe it is possible!

Unfortunately, when teams face challenges as tough as ours the first thing spectators like to do is point fingers at potential problems. Headlines report on the status of L. Frank, there is discussion if the team has thrown in the towel on the organization and most importantly the fans, etc…etc.

As team captain, let’s set the record straight. We refuse to be called quitters; we will compete; we will play hard; we will play together as a team.  Success is sometimes gauged on wins and losses, but maintaining that professional pride and the willingness to succeed will result in the outcome we strive to achieve.

Brace yourself, it’s about to get interesting.
