There’s not much going on right now in the world of VC. Now that our 2008-09 season is a thing of the past, it’s time to move on. I guess you are wondering what’s been going on since April 15th (our last game of the season)… First things first, after our team exit interviews I gassed up the plane and flew south to pick up “my mini-me,” a.k.a. “my little hero,” a.k.a. “daddy’s little girl”…yes, I’m talking about my daughter! We have been having a great time together doing the things we love to do. We play with our two dogs, spend time at the parks, go bowling, read books, color, and just about anything else that makes us smile. You know…kid stuff! (Ha-ha) Although I miss and enjoy the excitement of playoff basketball, there is no greater feeling than spending time with your child.
Over these next couple of weeks, I plan to relax the sore joints and clear the mind to prepare for a dedicated summer. But until then, “I’m gonna enjoy these moments! Oh sorry…gotta go, Nickelodeon is back from commercial break!” Lol
